I know, I totally owe this post big time, but I just need to get my blogging groove back again.

Anyway, my second Whole30 actually had more challenges than my first one.

First was the birthday gathering with my friends

I didn’t blog about this, but there was company lunch interview when I was in the middle of Whole30. Since I didn’t take any picture of my food because it would look very awkward seen by my colleagues and the interviewee (which we hired her in the end). But here’s the reference pic of what I ordered for my company lunch: bunless burger with salad as a side and no dressing = WINNER! Mine didn’t have any cheese or ketchup on it

And then the baby shower

As you can see, there were LOTS of temptation to derail from Whole30, whether by choice or pressure. It might look awkward for not having food that was served by the host, but it turned out not to be that way. Everyone was just having fun and good time and that’s what gathering all about, right?

I’m pretty happy with my second Whole30, despite the road blocks that I had to stumble. On the other hand, I got to keep my mindless snacking on the bay….for now.
