January Challenge
Hey everyone! How’s the first couple days of New Year going for you?
I might not mention it out loud but I’m doing another round of Whole30 again π It’s not for New Year resolution but it’s more for myself to start really listening to my body. Lately I’ve been snacking quite often and I really need to control my nuts and dried fruits intake. I also noticed I tend to reach out for munchies if I’m sitting at my desk for almost entire time, and this applies a lot when I’m at work. Having other people around you munching crunchy stuff doesn’t help the situation either and remember I do have soft spots for crunchy stuff?
So my Whole30 this time in addition to Whole9’s guideline, I decided not to snack on nuts. The only exception is nut butter as condiment and nuts part of beef jerky package such as Primal Pacs.
Unlike my last Whole30, I might not have time to post every single meal that I have for the entire January, but when I get a chance I’ll post some food pictures. π

In addition to this, I’m also doing 50 Burpees a Day for 50 Days Challenge.
Man, this January should be FUN!

Mmmm, wonderful eats again! Listening to your body is something like a constant goal for me, it’s so easy to slip out of it when things are getting stressy or during boring desk sessions.
You totally said it right!
I would love to see a recipe for the Bnut Lasagna! I went through every one of your 1st Whole 30 blog entries and decided several ago weeks that, with your entries to guide me, I would try to give it a go at least once this year π

wow you have some goals this jan! i don’t think i could do 50 burpees every day—my upper body is a weakness of mine! i’ve been doing really well with eats i think. it’s strange bc if i were to say to myself to do the whole30 i’d prob be likely to cheat bc i don’t like the feeling of ‘i can’t eat such and such.’ but right now i’m eating full on paleo (not even tomatoes/spuds!) and feeling great. i just stopped taking birth control as well on 12/22 so far so good and i don’t feel too strange π
My upper body is really weak as well so I’m going to make this 50 burpees challenge to improve it. I always thought you already have a good upperbody strength since you could do crane pose already -(I still can’t!) You know before I started my first Whole30, I had similar thought as yours that I might actually cheat when I felt being restricted and it turned out, it wasn’t like that at all..Btw are you avoiding nightshades as well for health reasons?
