Typically I would drag myself out from bed on Sunday when we lost an hour. However, today I actually got up an hour earlier than usual! According to “old time”, it was before 6 am but since we moved our clock 1 hour ahead, I considered getting up at 7am.

Looks like I won't see this tomorrow morning when waiting for the train

First thing first I finally cleaned the kitchen exhaust fan which was way overdue for cleaning.

Then I had to do some work stuff for a little bit before I realized my stomach was grumbling. I wondered why I was so damn hungry and realized I didin’t eat any dinner last night.

Since I just cleaned the kitchen meticulously, I opted myself for 3 poached eggs, some bacon and some cabbage.

I usually make fried eggs since they’re the most convenient to cook and yummy but poached eggs aren’t so bad either!

When I was browsing around my Facebook news feed, I saw Hayley’s (The Food Lovers Primal Palate) CrossFit WOD post:

Without any further thinking, I quickly wrote it down and modified accordingly. You can read all about it here šŸ™‚

That really pumped me up for a while!

Lunch was gorgeous as well.

Hubby’s lunch was more colorful though. Believe me, this wasn’t a chicken salad but the color combos made it looks that way.

Btw I’m so bummed that I can’t go to PaleoFx which will be in Austin, Texas this coming week and I’m still unsure whether I could go to AHS12 this August or not. Anyone who’s reading this might go? Hubby might skip this time because of his job plus the expense of the airline ticket etc, but it seems like it would be a fun event to go and it might be even bigger than AHS11. AHS11 was already a blast so AHS12 might be even more awesome. Argh…can’t decide yet! šŸ™
