Whole30 Sunday Noms
I was quite productive today that even my eyes were wide open at 5 am on Sunday! Can you imagine that? I supposed to take advantage of sleeping in during weekend. Not sure why but after tossing around for a bit, I decided to get up at 6am. HA!
The first thing I did? Well I did first 20 burpees for my 50 Burpees per day for 50 Days Challenge (Day 6!) while I was waiting for the water to boil so I could have some nice warm water in the morning. Afterward, I did another 30 Burpees as my warm up for the workout!
I’m still nursing my knees so no squats and lunges for the time being.
For breakfast, I decided to have something different than fried eggs: leftover from dinner!
A bowl of warm seaweed soup
The last Roasted Spicy Turkey Drumstick with some sweet potatoes
I LOVE having leftovers for breakfast! 😀
Of course I also had loose leaf tea because it’s a luxurious thing to have during weekends! While I was sipping the tea, I felt a bit creative so I sort of did a little logo for the blog. I’ve been wanting to design my own blog theme for ages and now I think it’s the time to do it. At the same time, it would be a good learning experience for me as well. I don’t know how long will it take me to do it as I know myself to be super picky and like the usual, it’s easier to design for others than for yourself. At least that’s how I feel.
For lunch I made Naughty Nutty Noodles which turned out super yummylicious! Hubby made his typical ground beef for protein dish.
I also had half avocado as dessert.
For the remaining cabbage, I made Braised Cabbage with Carrots and Sweet Potatoes for dinner and for packing our lunch.
If you want to know how to make this super simple and easy dish, go here. I didn’t exactly follow the recipe but it’s pretty close.
That’s all folks!
