It’s Almost the Time…
Since the symposium will be in West LA area, Hubby K and I will have to get up before the crack of the dawn to give us enough time to have some breakfast, preparing paleo friendly snacks and beat LA morning traffic. Since this is a two day event, we decided to stay over at local hotel around UCLA to save us the drive. Besides, who knows if we get to hang out some of cool Paleo bloggers on Friday night after the seminars over for the day? π
I am well aware that I haven’t posted my typical eats for the day, but after seeing my exhausted post during my entire Whole30, I’m sure you’ll get the idea, right? π Anyway, fear not, I’ll post up whatever stuff I’ve been making lately.
Saute Ground Beef seasoned with Homemade Taco Seasonings with bell peppers and cherry tomatoes (I made this dish again today, with chopped celery instead of bell peppers)
Stir Fry Chinese Long Beans with bacon(!)
Five Spice Apple Braised Whole Chicken, which surprisingly turned out super YUMMY!
Use Whatever-You-Have-Veggie Stir Fry with bacon(!) topped with cherry tomatoes
Some snacks that I’ll be bringing to AHS would be
Coconut Chips
Seaweed Snacks from SeaSnax
A little story behind SeaSnax. Remember the time I ordered their Student CARE package? Well apparently they missed 4 packs of Spicy Chipotle Flavor. Instead I got extra 2 for Roasted Onion and Classic flavors. So I emailed their sales rep and she kindly shipped me SIX PACKS of Chipotle Flavor! Wow, didn’t expect that! See, sometimes you just gotta ask and you shall receive π
Some Wild Planet Light Skipjack Tuna π
Also on the good news, I finally got my computer back to normal (YAY!). It’s all thanks to Brother A who got me Windows XP program and reformatted my computer completely. Good thing I already backed up all of my stuff so reformatting wasn’t a big deal. And after learning a lesson, I installed a good Anti-virus software on my computer to ward off any nasty spyware/virus. Computer problem is no fun!
Alrite I think I’ll be taking some time off from blogging for a bit and hopefully after I got back from AHS, I soaked up any infos about healthy living and will try to blog about it as much as possible. Hopefully my brain won’t explode from information overload…haha.
Have you attended any blogger event?

Jos, I can’t tell how much I’d LOVE to go there with you!!! And I can’t believe you’re going to see and hear all those fantastic people in person! Please, PLEASE blog about it! π
I know the awkward feeling to bei within the middle of crowd so well, especially if you don’t know the people around you … Good you have your hubby with you!
Your eats look awesome as always. I also love to top veggie stir fries with cherry tomatoes. π
Aw man, I’m super jealous! I wish I could go to that event. And I never get tired of seeing your daily food intake journals — they’re really inspiring, actually.

I’m very jealous! i wanted to go to this but i’m attending the healthy living summit in philly aug 19-21. if i lived on the west coast i would much rather attend AHS since i’m a paleo science nerd ^_^ i cannot wait to hear your report! make sure to take lots of photos (bet there will be a ton of vibrams haha).
Oooh, I’m gonna have to try the SeaSnax, I’m a huge fan of Trader Joe’s seaweed snacks but they’re made with nasty canola oil!
