Whole30: Day 28
Wow 2 more days until the end of my Whole30 and at the same time it’s almost the end of July! OMG…time flies waay so fast!
Unlike last week, this whole week my sleep has been GREAT! I’m not sure what exactly the cause but for now I’ll rule it out as my period. Anyway, I had a great Bodyrock.tv workout this morning plus I added some of mini exercise practices afterward.
Post workout meal/breakfast – the usual
The protein this time were 2 slices Applegate Natural Herb Turkey Breasts.
I was uber lazy for the day, so for lunch I just whipped up some cooked tuna salad by mixing 2 cans of Wild Planet Skipjack Light Tuna with the remaining homemade mayo and some chopped green onions.
But since I’m skeptical of consuming raw egg, I sauteed the tuna-mayo mixture on the skillet in medium heat for 5 minutes with a little bit of avocado oil.
Paired up with left over Apple and Spice Mini Burgers, whole avocado, Coconut Chips and steamed veggies, here’s my lunch plate.
We ran out of good vegetables so we drove by to some local Korean market to stock up. Well not quite stocking up cause we only got 2 type of veggies (broccoli and cabbage) because those are the only decent looking ones. Plus I picked up a bag of kelp noodles.
Came back home I ate one yellow peach which wasn’t that sweet and juicy but I don’t care. I like it in some ways because it’s crunchy and has a slight tart taste.
And I almost got a heart attack when my computer was acting up because of some stupid spyware infection! The spyware prevented me opening any program so I literally couldn’t do anything (couldn’t even go online). As I came to a horror that I might have to reformat/reinstall my Windows program (painful!), Hubby K gave me a malware removal program to fix it and thank goodness now that stupid spyware is gone! Phew!
For dinner, my only effort was make roasted broccoli and steamed more Chinese veggies.

Whole30: Day 28 – When I feel like I’m short in protein, I increased my fat intake for my meal to keep the hunger away longer!
Are you skeptical consuming raw eggs?

Phew, good your computer is fine again!
I love how you paleolize all these familiar dishes – your tuna salad looks great! I haven’t consumed raw eggs for a while, but when I was a child, I often ate an egg yolk whisked with sugar as a treat. (Sounds weird, but both my parents know that from their childhood as well, it’s called “Zuckerei” in German) and nothing ever happened. Obviously, my parents didn’t worry either.
Hi Jos! 🙂 2 more days to go, yay!!!
About raw eggs – when I was a kid we used to eat raw yolks with sugar, it was a delicious treat. For some time I was told that consuming raw eggs is good for your vocal cords, so I was “drinking” an egg from time to time, back when I used to sing a lot. But for about 10 years now, I didn’t eat a raw egg. But I do not feel negative about it.
I run out of avocados and they do not have them in store now, grrrrrrrrr, that sucks, because I learned to love them. Oh, I wanted to order some kelp noodles and coconut aminos from the site you mention on twitter the other day! I am still using the same things over and over again, and even though I use them differently every time, it is always nice to have a new thing to add 🙂
