Do Not Share It
I am not sure what season we are now in SoCal. One day it could be nice and cool like fall season is finally here and the next day we are back to the heat like summer doesn’t wanna leave us just yet.
For the past 2 weeks, I actually literally been surrounded by sick people at work! A person who’s sitting next and across from me are catching a cold and in the process of recovering, 3 people got sick last week and 2 more people got sick this week.
I have to thank to my active lifestyle, enough sleep and eating real foods have helped my immune system to keep me away from those nasty germs.
Do you stay home when you feeling like you’re getting sick or do you still go to work since there are lots of works need to be done?
For me, no matter how busy work is, if I feel like I’m getting sick, I rather stay home and rest to get better. It’s not the end of the world if work has to get delayed another day. My health is the most important thing, but maybe I’m just being an idealist. Besides who wants to get a fair share of the germs anyway?
I’ve been making zucchini beef quiche/pancake and been eating this for breakfast for the past 2 weeks. A nice change from the usual hardboiled eggs. Recipe is loosely based on this one.

I’ve realized that since I’ve changed my diet, I’ve been sick very rarely (compared to frequently before), but I still have to be careful with exhaustion. During the past years, I’ve learned that it’s better for me to stay at home and rest when I feel like getting sick or am very exhausted, because I’ll have a much higher bill when I don’t.
totally agree! i would rather stay home for a day and recover than force myself and possible end up sicker than if i would have just taken a step back and saved my energy!
