Christmas Feasts
Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all enjoying your time with your loved ones and have good food etc. We had quite good feasts and I’m going to show them all to you.
Christmas Eve brunch at the Flaming Spice. We came here last time for our friends’ gathering and loved their food so we decided to have our Christmas Eve brunch here. Besides it’s an all-you-can eat hot pot! 😀
As usual, I could enjoy my morning cup of tea.
We ordered the same broth like last time: Wild Mushroom broth!
We ordered LOTS of veggies and mushrooms! I was seriously mushroom over-loaded for this day!
LOTS of beef and lamb slices (skipped all kinds of meatballs, tofu and other processed craps)
Look how colorful and loaded our plates are!
I also sampled some of their side dishes- seaweed salad and some pickled mustards? It was ok..the fresh meat slices and veggies were MUCH YUMMIER!
Also a soft boiled egg.
Despite all of those, we finished EVERYTHING that we ordered!
Including the ones in the soup pot as well! We hate wasting food, but we don’t wanna overstuffed ourselves either. When we skipped eating carb and sugar loaded stuff like rice, pasta, dumplings, we weren’t overstuffed at all despite ate quite a lot.
After we came back home and relaxed a bit, we went to Hubby K’s parents’ house to have a family dinner. This time I didn’t eat as much, just enough to fill me up.
And today on the Christmas Day, I had Roasted Lamb Leg with Cauliflower-Lemon Curry Stew, which were super yummy! I think I might not need any dinner after this feast.
Plus I’ve been listening to Christmas songs the entire day on this radio station. 😛
What’s your favorite Christmas songs?
I like: All I Want for Christmas is You (by Mariah Carey), A Christmas Canon (Transiberian Orchestra), Jingle Bell Rock, Carol of the Bells, Do They Know It’s Christmas (my favorite!), and Happy Christmas (War is Over).

I also love “Carol of the Bells” and “Oh Holy Night” (the version by Mariah Carey is really nice). But my favorite Christmas music of all times is the first cantata of J. S. Bach’s Christmas Oratorio.
