Adjustments Needed Soon
I’ve been trying to go back on eating clean after the vacation, especially after I saw these 2 buggers.
Apparently my body perfectly knew that I wasn’t eating the way I supposed to be. Couldn’t help it that I might ingest crapload of industrial vegetable oils. Not that I had any choice anyway.
So I’ve been happily indulging the typical Jos foods ever since I came back.
But couple days ago, we actually went out to eat lunch at Korean Garden BBQ: All You Can Eat Organic Grass Fed Beef Korean BBQ.
As usual it came with lots of side dishes. These were some of my favorite.
I know what you’re thinking why we went out to eat when we just got back not too long from our vacation. Well, there’s some good news. Let’s say that next week, I’ll start working at my new job. It seems like a nice place to work but the downside is I will have to commute three times more than my old job, plus not to mention I’ll have deal with the busy LA traffic. On the other side, I do have a choice to take public transportation, but of course as everyone knows, LA is famous with the worst public transportation system.
I was supposedly started tomorrow but they need about a week to set up my workstation and organize the office so they told me to start the week after. Actually it’s not a bad idea that I have this entire week to start adjusting my schedule back PLUS I’ll try to drive myself to the workplace to see how bad the commute will be so I can decide whether to drive or to take the public transport. We’ll see.
It’s exciting but at the same time I am a bit worried to go back being a full time worker again. In some ways I do always have self doubt even though I’m trying my best not to do it.
Another adjustments? Well let’s say Hubby K will have to learn how to cook food the Paleo way..haha. He has this entire week to start sharpening his cooking skills.
See the chicken pieces? That was his first attempt to cook it the paleo way for today’s lunch. They were a bit on the dry side, but thank goodness for Mashed “Sweet Potatoes” that I made, it actually balanced it out.
I keep telling him that he could always check out my Recipes to get some inspirations ๐
All right peeps, that’s it for today. ๐

Congrats on your new job Jos!!! ๐ Yay for you!
Thank you, Nina!!
Congrats on your new job! ๐ I hope returning to cleaner eating will make your skin better soon! And I don’t think the SPs are the reason for that because you’ve been eating them all the time and never posted anything about your skin getting worse.
My zits are going away now…yay! I am also suspecting my body isn’t used to be exposed to non home cooked meal for an extended time (one whole week?- wow)
Judging from your archives, do you eat yams/sweet-potatoes daily? See, when their complex sugars stay undigestable, they feed bacteria in the gut, which release toxins to the body, and that can have serious effects, or just innocent pimples. Yams are healthier than white potatoes, but they are not ideal either. Personally, I’d put the blame to eating tubers too regularly, rather than vegetable oils. Or, your pimples could just be the outcome of a small “hidden infection” that your body went through but it was small enough that you didn’t notice.
Yes I do eat yams/sweet potatoes as my daily post WO meal except that one whole week when I was away. Interesting thought btw…I’ll look into it more ๐
Yay!ย Congratulations on the new job!!!ย ๐
Thank you!!
