Holy smokes, last night and the night before I’ve been having hard time to fall asleep, despite been yawning a lot but I found myself tossed and turned for at least an hour until I finally could snooze away. Geez, what’s the matter with me? So because of that, I didn’t do any workout either today, BUT I wasn’t a total bump either. I did some light yoga and practice pistols (5 unassisted, 5 assisted for each leg) and I already wrote down which workout I wanna do for tomorrow.

So what did I have for breakfast? Left over from yesterday’s food of course! A small plate of Basil Lime Squash Chicken paired with super spicy roasted broccoli. Not a typical look of a breakfast, huh? Seriously, in Paleo, there’s no clear differences between breakfast/lunch/dinner anymore.

My Coconut Chips ran out so I made another batch and munched on these babies as well!

There was one thing I’ve been itching to do and I know today I just HAD to do it – WASHED the car (in this case Hubby K’s car).

Don’t ask when was the last time we washed the car but since my car mostly parked in the garage, I think I could let it slide for now, but Hubby K’s car was beyond dirty and I just couldn’t stand it and had to wash it..PRONTO! I had to refill the bucket every time cause we don’t have a hose and it was actually quite a workout too, going back and forward between the garage and the parking lot! 😉 This was my other exercise in addition to pre-lunch yoga/stretch/pistols.

I didn’t have my lunch until around 2 pm and I wasn’t super hungry either. Wrong. I was actually hungry, but not so bad that I could just inhale the entire plate in a second. Left over stir fried kelp noodles from yesterday with some roasted broccoli topped with whole avocado. I just can’t get sick of eating avocados in almost of my every meal. Call me an avo-freak 😀

Biting into a sweet and sour yet juicy yellow nectarine was the best dessert I’ve ever had after lunch!

The lunch kept me full for the entire afternoon and since Hubby K won’t be home for dinner, I just pan fried the remaining salt & pepper chicken breasts in coconut oil and sprinkled with Spicy “Sausage” Seasoning Mix for dinner’s protein.

Made another batch of roasted broccoli (went easy on the pepper this time) plus Seaweed salad.

Voila, dinner!

The air was nice and breezy outside so after I finished dinner, while the sun was still out (around 7:30pm), I took about 1 mile walk outside the house to enjoy it.

Hopefully with these mild activities I did today, I shouldn’t have any trouble falling asleep later!

Whole30: Day 17 – Sleep is very important. This morning I felt lack of energy when woke up (not to mention I woke up from ants nightmare) so I decided not to do a workout. When you don’t have enough sleep (less than 6 hours), better not exercising since you’ll just do damange to your body more. Instead, focus on preparing yummy healthy paleo meal and go to bed early.

Do you have any sleeping problem?
