On June 9th, hubby and I celebrated our 7th year anniversary. Unlike our previous anniversaries, we decided to just stay home and enjoyed our home cooked meal.

Granted it was on Monday and obviously we couldn’t do something super extravaganza. Besides hubby couldn’t take a time off either.

So I was left with my own devices.

For some reason, I managed to pull things together!

I admit, aesthetic physical presentation isn’t really my strongest point (I do however could make pretty things digitally using graphic software!), so I was quite pleased with myself for putting this fancy looking dinner together. Hubby was amazed too..haha!

Everything on this table is homemade from scratch. The only ones that I put together in the last minute were the heart shaped cookies. I was so surprised they turned out super good. Sometimes I have this impromptu recipe development in my head for no reason and a lot times they usually didn’t turn out as what I expected.

These cookies, however, were the exception.

Hmmm OK, I might lie a bit! They didn’t turn out to be exactly like the usual cookies that I’ve known, BUT they are STILL YUMMY! So look out for that recipe to come out on this blog soon!

In the meantime, I’ll let you enjoy the photos and drooling over them..HAHA!
