Hello readers!

I can’t believe we are in the end of January 2014 already! Wow, time surely flies. I thought we just celebrate New Year not too long ago!

Anyway are you one of those who embarking the “New Year Resolution” journey? How is it going? Still stay strong or are you started to derail from it?

As I mentioned on my previous post, I am currently OFF from doing Carb Nite Solution® protocol.

Here’s my progress so far.

I’m actually quite happy with what I’m seeing. Sure it’s not a huge big difference as you’d expect from typical befores/afters.

To tell you the truth, after I’m embarking this fat loss/muscle building journey with Debby’s guidance, I realized I will take a lot longer to see progress compare to others. In short, I fall into a Skinny Fat category – a category that most fitness/fat loss industries tend not to focus because this category won’t see dramatic changes in a short time, unlike those who are very overweight OR those who already have significant muscles just need to shed extra body fat to reveal them.

My current lifestyle protocol is sort of Cyclical Keto Diet. So I only eat starchy carbs from white rice or sweet potatoes if I’m going to lift. And I only eat them the night before my morning training session.

What not to enjoy? I gotta enjoy my traditional Asian eating style…AGAIN!

The rest of the days I am still doing low carb/keto so I could still be in fat burning mode. So I still gotta enjoy some desserts here and there 🙂

So while other people, such as my co-workers doing this juice cleansing diet (a whole week only fruits and veggies?! – please kill me now! Nobody can take away my butter, eggs and bacon!), I still get to enjoy normal foods, keeping my workout intensity high, build muscles while minimizing fat gain.

I know I mentioned I might update with some recipes but I think I still want to tinker a bit more with it before sharing it with you all. Patience!

Have a good Sunday!
