May Today Be Your Lucky Day
I am not a superstitious person but things that happened today made me think twice about Friday the 13th.
1.I got out the office on time, stopped by Farmer’s Market to shop some fruits and took the usual subway. BUT…for some reason it just had to got delayed that I missed my next ride home…which MEANS I had to be stuck at the station for a good 1.5 hour!!
2. Someone at work needed some image from me. Ok fine, there’s Starbucks at the station which usually offers free Wi-Fi and I had my laptop with me. So no big deal, right? NO! The freaking wi-fi for some reason was VERY SLUGGISH, even worse than 1997 dial up! It was like pulling teeth just to send a mere 200kb image!!
3. Let’s not forget about this incident from last year.
4. And today when making my oxtail soup, apparently I put a wee bit too much water in the pressure cooker so the water overflowed…ARGH!
Should I start be superstitious with Friday the 13th now?
Sorry for this lame post after being MIA for quite sometime. I promise the next post after this will be something more worth to read.
In light of this legendary Friday 13th, I was grateful enough that I packed my lunch with me to work thinking I might have to stay a bit later. So instead of running to here:

where have you been??? hope everything is ok 🙂 i had a horrid 13th…literally not enough hours in the day to complete all the work i had on my plate 🙁 i had to eat lunch in a meeting and slug a protein shake in another meeting. i just left feeling so fried! i ate a pint of coconut ice cream to recover last night lol
Haha I’m still around..just haven’t got a chance updating my blog lately! Sorry to hear about your work! Granted I’ll eat a pint of ice cream too after a stressful day like that!
