All the Great Things
Happy Sunday everyone and for those in the US, did you all enjoy the extra hour of snooze? I know I did, although it didn’t change the fact I still got up at 7 am (old time) but the good news is with the time change, it would be 6 am.
Btw remember the lost UPS package I mentioned before? Well apparently UPS was either dumb or careless but the package was finally delivered to my front door on Friday night! Maybe the UPS person recorded as delivered on Thursday while he actually forgot to drop it off in front of my porch? Oh well..at least I’m happy now that I got to taste Steve’s Original which so many Paleo bloggers have been raving about!
Ok sorry for the interruption. Let’s get back to the usual programming, shall we?
What’s better than getting up early and got the workout done early as well?
Not to mention I got to enjoy my favorite post workout snack..EVER! Give me fried eggs (in coconut oil) and purple yam, I’m one happy cavegirl.
After noshing my post workout-snack which also my breakfast, I started to get busy in the kitchen. I won Make It Paleo cookbook from a giveaway a while back and finally I got a chance to try out one of the recipe in the book. After flipping the pages around for who knows how many times, I landed on this recipe: Chicken with 40 cloves of garlic.
Just like the recipe title says, don’t be shy to get as many garlic cloves as possible (plus the seasonings as well)
While the chicken was cooking in the oven, my house smells AMAZING! The end result was AWESOME!
And I proceeded cooking for the rest of lunch, which also ended up becoming our dinner and tomorrow’s lunch. π Batch cooking, people, so you can tackle 2-3 meals at once π
Can you believe that I’m still going to prepare another dish even after all of those? Ha…I am always up to stocking up cooked food as much as possible to keep my sanity throughout the week.
Enjoy the rest of the Sunday! It’s cold and rainy here!

Hahaha, great you finally got your jerky! And congrats on winning that cookbook! I’ll look it up immediately! I love garlic, and I also love when my whole apartment is fragrant from the cooking aromas. Mmm! π
