Home Cooked Meal Over Fast Food
Not much happened today except I am just happy Hubby K decided not to go and get his burger from Jack In The Box to use the Buy 1 Get 1 Free Coupon for his dinner because he saw me made this meatloaf.
Although it didn’t turned out that pretty in pic, this antelope meatloaf turned out ok.
It was my first time experimenting with my homemade Cajun seasonings by following the ingredient list from Penzey’s website, but I’d like to adjust the seasonings to my liking.
I added some chopped onion, shredded whole apple, 2 beaten eggs and couple tablespoons of coconut oil into the meatloaf.
Ok it wasn’t the best meatloaf ever. It was a bit dry (even after those coconut oil??) and somewhat chewy (not a bad thing) – can’t even rival BoarBaconlicious Meat Loaf that I made last time. So that’s why I’m happy that Hubby K still said it tasted good.
As for lunch, like I mentioned thanks goodness for the leftover steak from yesterday, I got my lunch covered!
Breakfast/Post workout meal? Same thing as yesterday (purple yam, eggs and frozen veggies)
So tell me, would you rather eat fast food or not so delicious home cooked meal?

I think your meatlof looks very good! I never dared to make one … The addition of an apple is really fancy! And I’d always favor the home-cooked meal, even if it’s dry and bland!
i’d rather have a home cooked meal! unless it’s something raw and/or specialty ingredient that i cannot access like sashimi. i love penzeys!
