Pretty Paleo Dish
Just when I thought summer is almost over, apparently today was another hot day! But that didn’t stop me from working out in the morning. A short interval workout and followed with 15 minute strength training.
Post workout meal – the usual (protein and safe starch)
For lunch I made Orange Glazed Chicken Bell Peppers which turned out super yummy and fantastic! It was so good that I made an effort to pretty up the set up and took TONS of pictures of the dish! 😀
Apparently, my bad luck with unripe avocado hasn’t gone yet. Today was the worst! This avocado was totally unripe!

Colorful fruits for afternoon snacks: grapes and yellow peach! YUM~!
Do you always try to pretty up your dish for picture taking?
Usually I don’t bother too much, but if the dish turned out good and depending on my mood, I’ll try to dress it up a bit for picture purposes.

I usually just put my food into a bowl, but then I try to make it look nce sometimes by rearranging it with a fork a little. And I like to take shine-through pictures of herbs and carrots tagliatelle against the light. 🙂
wow that is a pretty dish! i’ve been enjoying some juicy nectarines lately. it’s the first stone fruit i’ve had ALL year so far!? i tend to eat seasonally so this summer has been very berry friendly. the fall i’ll have apples/persimmons and in the winter prob no fruit at all.
