Back and Recovering!
Hello all!!
I’ve been away from blogging for the past 2 days for the Ancestral Health Symposium and I’d say it was an AWESOMELY INFORMATIVE event that I wish I will go again the next time they’re having it. I took TONS of pictures and learned a lot regarding Paleo diet from scientific perspective.
I’ll try my best to blog about this amazing event when my head is less foggy. If you want, you can search #AHS11 on Twitter where some paleo peeps were tweeting passing notes to get some tid-bits from the presentations. π
For now here are some pictures that I took during the event:
My eats weren’t exactly clean either- LOL – SUGAR-GLUTEN-DAIRY – woohoo!
Fear not starting today I jumped back on the Paleo bandwagon again!
Breakfast fully loaded omelet fried in coconut oil, saute celery seasoned with cumin and salt in coconut oil, half canned tuna and sliced cherry tomatoes
Good thing I pre-cooked chicken breasts the day before the event so when I got back, I won’t have to slave around in the kitchen while still recovering from the lack of sleep and non paleo food exposure π
Plus, I already marinated the last whole chicken to make another Five Spice Apple Braised Whole Chicken for dinner!
That means I won’t be going with Hubby K to visit his parents for dinner. *sigh* I know I might impose as a bad daughter-in-law for haven’t visiting them for the entire month of July (I was doing Whole30), but the thought of derailing from paleo today just didn’t appeal me. After 2 days, I need a whole day to detox and back on the track before derailing again.

I can understand you didn’t go to your in-laws. After derailing, I need at least a day to feellike myself again.
Yeah, I found Paleo the ‘bomb’ (or similar :)).
