Happy Times :)
Happy Tuesday everyone!
As you might guess on the title, I am in an EXTREMELY GOOD mood today. It started off over the weekend.
So what happened, you asked?
Well first thing was on Saturday, I had a great upper body workout that I did at the gym prior watching the Kettlebell competition afterward.
Here’s a little video snippet beginning of the first flight: Double Clean and Jerks. Notice how graceful they were doing them, almost look like they were lifting balloons!!
After I got home, I made a yummy roasted pastured raised chicken seasoned with homemade taco seasonings.
On Sunday, I’ve finally bought my own kettlebells! A pair of 15lbs and one 35lbs. So far I’m comfortable working on my upper body using 15lbs and lower body with 35lbs. Slowly I might want to get more, but baby steps for now. 🙂
Our SoCal weather has finally warmed up. Yesterday I enjoyed having my lunch under the warm sunshine.
Then the grand happiness happened last night!
After I got home, I decided to throw in some Ab circuit workout.
During the 1 minute jump rope, I FINALLY DID MY DOUBLE UNDERS! I was super happy that I demanded asked my hubby to watch me, though he reluctantly did. Well yea I wanna to show off a bit, I know!!
Not consecutive yet but it just made me happy I’ve finally be able to string 3-5 in between singles! Yay to me!!
What things that made you happy recently?

Congrats! I’m very happy for you! Approaching your goals gives such satisfaction and encouragement! Go you! 🙂 🙂
Thank you!
Congratulations on your double unders, those and pull up are my next goal! I cannot do those yet but like you said, baby steps 🙂 Recently, what made me happy is that I am so close to do one leg squats all the way up and down without assistance! I’ve been following Tatiana from LovingFit, I am doing her improve push up and the one leg squat program. She is great, thanks for introducing me to her website!
