Birthday Dinner and the Perfect Fit
Last night dinner to celebrate FIL’s (Father-in-Law) birthday was awesome! Granted I didn’t have a super squeaky clean Paleo eats but it’s the 80/20 rules that apply for a special occasion like this right? One thing for sure, there was no birthday cake or anything like that. Not sure if FIL is keen people singing Happy Birthday song and blew off 80 candles..ha!
Here’s the overview of the dinner last night.
Some dishes like the roasted duck and pork were store bought obviously.
One of my favorite cheat dish was FIL homemade fish noodles 😀
I loved the steamed fish fillet as well
Stir-fry veggies (love the mushrooms!)
Er I won’t lie that I was so tempted to have at least one of these deep fried eggrolls but I am happy that I could resist them! 😀
After dinner we swung by KOHL’S to take advantage of double-triple coupons savings. I got these dressy shoes! (after bunch of coupons and KOHL’S card, I paid $18 for $40.00 shoes!)
I don’t usually buy dressy heel shoes because they’re just uncomfortable but this pair is an exception. They are very comfy and light. Plus I just recently found out that all my shoe size are way too small for me!! No wonder my feet always hurt everytime I’ve been wearing them (sneakers and all) for a longer period of time. Can you imagine I am supposedly wearing size 9 but have been wearing size 8 for the past decade? – Yeah I know..I’m such a dork!
Do you usually shop shoes at particular store?
I usually shop at DSW since they have wide range of shoe selections. KOHL’S is not exactly a place I’d buy shoes if not because of their crazy coupon savings.

Fantastic shoes and that’s not a bad deal. I just randomly chose my shopping store according to the mood then go for it.
