Happy T-Day aka Gobble Gobble Day to those of you in the US and also Happy Hanukkah for those who celebrate it (I know my Carb Nite® and training coach, Debby celebrates Hanukkah!)

I’ve been getting up and left my house to work before the crack of the dawn for the past 3 days so it’s nice to have this 4 day weekend to unwind and relaxing. To be honest, it’s the FIRST time my workplace gave us Friday after T-Day as a holiday ever since I worked there! Either way, I already requested a day off on Friday but with this, they’ll credit back my time off to my PTO accrual..WIN WIN!

It’s good that T-Day falls on my active rest day and it was SUCH A GORGEOUS day as well!

After I finished sipping my morning tea with coconut oil, I took a brisk walk to this park which is 1.3 miles away from my house.

They have a playground with swings! Happily, I hopped on to it and swing just like a little girl! In the beginning, I had to stop and figured out how to swing higher but then in the end I did it! This totally brought back memories from my childhood when I used to go to a playground and swing for hours (well not hours exactly, but you get the idea!)

It’s not a playground without the monkey bars! I did mini chin ups and pull ups!

After I re-lived my childhood moment, I walked back to my house. Total time I was out was exactly 1 hour. It took at least about 20 minutes with brisk walking. Not bad! I’d like to do this again sometime when I have free time on weekend!

After a shower, I quickly fixed myself some yummy breakfast.

Then I’m off to do some T-Day cooking for hubby and I. Stay tuned for the post! Who knows, I might have some recipes for you too.
